Finance mind. Athlete's discipline. Building TrackForm and a life of total freedom.
I study finance in Zürich and I've trained in track & field for over a decade. Right now I'm building TrackForm, and, more broadly, the freedom to decide when, what, and where I work. Being all-in on something worth my full commitment is the point.
01 About
I'm Cédric Blum, a Banking & Finance student at the University of Zürich and a wealth management intern at Valère Consulting SA. Finance is my foundation, but I've spent more than ten years in track & field, so I understand performance from the inside: the daily reps, the marginal gains, the mental game.
The sector I end up building in doesn't matter to me. What matters is total commitment, give me a cause worth my full effort and I'll go all in. I'm a generalist by nature, and that's exactly why AI excites me, it's leverage built for all-rounders, letting one person design, build, and create across fields without being boxed into a single skill.
If there's one thread to how I work, it's precision. I like things done accurately, cleanly, properly, half-finished and almost-right bother me. Very Swiss, honestly. Three words for me: disciplined, independent, curious.
02 Building
TrackForm is an AI technique coach for track & field, made in Switzerland. Upload one short clip and it scores your form against five expert criteria, points you to the exact frames that matter, and turns it into a plan you can actually train with , across ten disciplines.
I built it because I struggled with my own technique and could never get clear, concrete feedback when I needed it. Good coaching shouldn't depend on having an expert standing next to you, so TrackForm gives every athlete an honest second eye, and helps coaches give each athlete the same attention, wherever they train.
03 The vision
What drives me is simple: get the absolute most out of one life, and go all-in on work worth my full commitment. I'd rather own a hard problem end-to-end than coast on an easy one.
Independence, to me, is something you earn, the right to choose what you work on, through skill, results, and trust. I'm building it the long way: compounding discipline, learning fast, and shipping real things like TrackForm.
Because success isn't a number on a screen. It's mastery, health, and the people around me, and being at peace with the work. The discipline I built over a decade in sport is the same discipline I bring to finance and to everything I build.

06 Beyond work
Calm, mature, and I laugh a lot, that's how my friends would put it. I'm drawn to people with perseverance and bulletproof minds, and to anyone who can own a room with composure rather than noise.
10+ years in athletics with Swiss Athletics. Where my discipline was forged, consistency, marginal gains, and the long game.
A generalist at play: basketball, billiards, surfing, gaming, anime, good food, and travel. Always something new to be decent at.
David Goggins, Rich Dad Poor Dad, and a steady diet of self-improvement. Founders who struggled before they won; athletes with bulletproof minds.
Modern Asian cities and raw nature, Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, the US. Anywhere with a skyline or a good wave.
Four years leading a group at Pfadi Flamberg, planning activities and taking real responsibility. Where I first learned to lead.
I treat AI as leverage, to learn faster, build across fields, and ship real things like TrackForm. This very site is part of that experiment.
